Is ProSuite suitable for a landlord with only a few units?+
Yes. Plans are based on the number of units you manage, and every plan has the full feature set. You can start with the 14-day free trial and see for yourself.
How do tenants pay rent?+
Tenants can pay with M-Pesa or other online options you switch on in Settings, and you can record cash, bank and cheque payments yourself. Depending on how you connect your payment account, payments are matched to the right tenant and invoice automatically or recorded by you in a few taps, and a receipt is sent. Your records stay complete either way.
When are rent invoices sent?+
Monthly rent invoices are generated automatically a few days before the due date and sent to tenants by SMS and email, so the early reminders have an invoice to point to. You can also create an invoice manually at any time.
Can I choose when reminders are sent?+
Yes. The default schedule is 3 days before the due date, on the due date, and the day after with a late fee. You can change the schedule in Settings.
What if my property charges VAT?+
Set a tax rate on the property. It is added on top of the rent and shown on that property's invoices, receipts and statements.
How do SMS credits work?+
Messages to tenants use SMS credits. You can top up any amount you choose, and ProSuite alerts you when your credits are running low.
Do I need a credit card for the trial?+
No. Every new account starts with a 14-day free trial. When you are ready you subscribe to a plan, and you can enter a discount code at checkout if you have one.
Can I manage a hotel, guesthouse or land sales business?+
Yes. When you register you choose an account type: landlord, property manager, hospitality, or land sales. Each one shows the tools that fit that business.
Can my caretaker or accountant use it too?+
Yes. Invite them from the Staff page and choose a role, so each person only sees what they need.
